Joan de Venecia, class valedictorian at the University of the College of Law topped the 2005 Bar Examinations with a grade of 87.22%.
Only 1,526 law graduates or 27.22% of the more than 5,000 graduates who took the bar in September passed the most rigorous government administered examinations.
"This is a dream. And as with anyone with a dream, when it comes true, you feel like you're in heaven," de Venecia said.
